Kate Smiles is a singer-songwriter from the Washington, DC area. While previously attending the University of Vermont she worked at Vermont Pop Records in Burlington, Vermont and began to develop her musical voice. Since then she has been passionate about creating new songs and developing her artistic style. Her smooth unique voice captures the heart and soul of all who listen.
Kate Smiles has been playing at small venues in the Washington, DC area but plans to expand to places along the East Coast. Her music is influenced by artists such as the Beatles, Brandi Carlile, Jeff Buckley, Fleetwood Mac, the Cranberries and the Civil Wars, among many others.
